I'm Reece, the founder and face behind Modern World Media, a video production company, and co-founder of [nameless], a private community for founders & creators.
Since I can remember, I’ve always had a camera in my hand starting with my Lego collection becoming an Oscar winning cast through my stop motion mini DV tape movies. I began working professionally as a freelance photographer in college when I found myself in the world of filmmaking shortly after. I started learning the role of being a cinematographer and colorist, two specialized roles that I fell in love with. This shaped my eye as it forced me to develop a strong understanding of photographic techniques and equipment while experimenting with editing and image finishing. Since then, I’ve realized the general power of film through storytelling.
I'm obsessed with a great image. I’ve immersed myself in the technical side of production as a cinematographer, into post-production through color grading and visual effects to the more nuanced aspects such as audience psychology and viewing habits.

My approach to leading a project:
Pre-Production
Identify needs and reverse engineer the desired outcome. From here, the ideation and story begin to shape similarly to how an architect would draft a blueprint for a home.
Production
This is where the fun happens. We execute and capture the story in the highest quality possible.
Post-Production
Crafting the deliverable to make it visually captivating for any platform. This is where revisions occur and deep editing, color correction, and sound design take place.
